Ingredients of a beautiful smile


There are times when every thing goes wrong. Even if it is only a small stuff that still may keep you down for the rest of the day or even a week. It could be one of many possible disasters. It could be a lost key. It could be a dead battery on your car. Or you may find that there was some thing sticking on your face right after you came home from an important party. It could be your angry boss shouting at you. It could be an employee messing up some important work. Any of these situations could bring a frown on to your face.


You have many choices here. You can go on a fit, try to hide in a room, have some junk food or comfort food and hurt your health even more etc. etc. None of these are going to make you feel better. But a smile will!!

Is it that hard to smile after the situation, whatever be it? How do you expect to be able to smile after some thing terrible happened to you? It does not sound normal to be smiling after some thing bad happens. People who are watching you may think that you lost your mind.

But in reality,
smiling is one of the ways by which you can let go of your negative feelings like nervousness, anxiety and anger. A smile is a good exercise for your facial muscles which in turn give a glow to your face and make it much more supple and tight. When you smile, your brain produces endomorphin which has the ability to reduce your physical and mental pain. Endomorphin makes your body feel good over all.

When you are not in any
mood to smile, all you have to do is look around and you will find some thing to be seen which can always bring a smile on to your face. Some of them are:-

Walking around the block. This is a good exercise and it gives you some fresh air to breathe as well. The exercise the body receives will keep you more energetic and the leisurely walk will relieve your anxiety and make you much more relaxed.

A dog or a cat will be a good companion for you provided you are not allergic to them, you can afford them and if you have the time to spend for them. Looking after a pet will create an emotional bond between you and your pet. You can release your feelings with them to a certain extent. And they will be happy to receive a hug from you any time you feel like hugging some one.

When you are in the daily rush of things, you stop appreciating the little pleasures of life. Always being in a rush will cause you to be really stressed. You need to take a breather from your work, daily house hold chorus etc., once in a while to recharge your batteries. You need time to see the stars and moon once in a while. Listen to the birds chirping in the evening and morning. You need to take it easy and get some extra sleep once in a while. Reading a book, watching a movie, eating out or getting a manicure or pedicure etc. all will help you relax.

Learning some thing new or achieving some thing new is always going to bring a lot of confidence to you. If you can master some thing that you like, that is definitely going to bring a smile on your face. A hobby will be a good idea to keep you engaged and your mind fresh. Try a hand at things like painting, sketching, photography etc. Or else you could give a try at needle work, knitting, crocheting or some thing similar. Any accomplishment on any of these fronts are going to be a confidence booster for you.

Making others happy will make you happy as well. Say some thing good about some one else. When you bring a smile on some one else's face that is going to bring a smile on your face as well. Even simple compliments could make both of you happy. But the compliment has to come from your heart. If there is no sincerity involved that may not give you the satisfaction.

In case of ladies,
when you smile even when you are not in a good situation, that shows your grace and maturity. People always respect and admire poised and confident women.
